This is my first year playing fantasy basketball and I'm just in an 8 team money league with some college buddies. It's a h2h points league where you get 1 pt for every pt scored, -1 every fg or free throw attempted, 1 pt for every reb, steal, block, assist, -1 turnover. Each match up is a week, and I'm the leading point scorer in the league so far but I'm about to most likely fall to 2-2 at the end of the day. I made two huge trades though that have taken away my depth but has given me 4 super stars. Do you like the trades and what should I do from here?

TRADE1 made a few days ago: I moved Lawson, Rondo, Monroe for Durant

TRADE2 made yesterday: Bosh, Millsap, J. Johnson, Irving for Bryant

MY TEAM

PG Deron Williams

SG Kobe Bryant

SF Kevin Durant

PF Anderson Verajio

C Dwight Howard

G Mo Williams

F Amir Johnson

UTIL Samuel Dalembert

UTIL George Hill

UTIL Jeff Teague

BENCH

Fischer

Diaw

EMPTY (out of match up acquisitions this week)

Here are some of the top tier free agents available who would you try to pick up or do you have any sleeper ideas to pick up

Garnett, Marion, Noah (waiver)

Scola, Jamison, Splitter, Felton, Ibaka

Welcome to the forums,

In small leagues I think it's important to trade depth for studs and that's exactly what you did! I love both trades, your team should dominate with Kobe, Durant, Deron, and Howard. I would keep your starting lineup as is right now, however, I would drop Fischer for Felton and store him on your bench for right now.

-1 point for FG and FT attempts, that's different…..that's exactly why it's hard to rank players in fantasy basketball compared to other fantasy sports. It seems like every league has different scoring systems so that's why it's so important to know you rules/scoring in your particular league. Again good job on the trades and don't touch a thing right now!
