I live in Minnesota.  One of my good friends is press for a radio station here in the twin cities and goes to all the Wolves games.  Hes pissed he passed on Love and wants to get Rubio with everything in him. He basically is offering me Gasol for Rubio.  This is a point league and not 8 cat.  It also is a 3 person keeper league but chances are Rubio would not make my keeper list.  Keep in mind Rubios value is a bit higher here in Minnesota because he looks to be a stud!   Should I make that move?  Try and get more? Don't do it he's Gasol is 31?12

I would take Gasol, he's a consistent double double guy while Rubio is still adjusting and may not reach his potential until next year. In a redraft league I would accept, however, my suggestion is to try to get more if you think you can but if he's only willing to part with Marc Gasol then take it!

Definitely!!!!!   He would be out of his mind to give up Pau Gasol for Rubio, take advantage! So much depends on your leagues scoring system in basketball but I don't know of any league where I would not make that trade. That is a STEAL!

It's done!  I got Pau Gasol and Boozer for Noah and Rubio!  I also upgraded a 3rd round pick from him for my 4th!  I got paid for Rubio!  Now I'm calling a guy for Amari Stoudamire and he may do the deal straight up.  I'm diggin it!

I still can't believe that other owner made that deal, great job! That is the perfect example of why it's so important in being aggressive on the trade market.

Yea I feel good about it!  I'm huge trader in fantasy football.  I have won 6 championships over the years.

One of the biggest reason behind the success is succesfull trading.  I'm very strategic in trades, as you should always look at the others teams needs and then fill the need.  Its not always overall points or players value, it could be pulling on heart strings like a hometown hero like this Rubio trade for example.  One other tip for beginners is building trade partnerships and and speaking those partnerships into exsistance.  When you build these relationships within your league you will not have to pay top dollar for players down the road.  My two cents!
